My editing policy

It is vital to me that through your session experience you are reminded you are perfect and full of magick, exactly as you are. With that said, I also understand that we aren't all at the top of the self-love climb just yet.

When it comes to editing, post-processing, photo retouching, and 'manipulation', here's what you can always expect from me:

I will never alter or manipulate you or your body with photoshop. My primary goal is for you to see how incredible you are here and now. With Photoshop so prevalent in magazines and print media and now social media filters encouraging us to modify our appearance every time we log on, I am here to counter the narrative of a world telling us to change ourselves by reminding you and me both how important it is to be authentically seen. My work is here to help you embrace the unique story of your body, including stretch marks, birthmarks, cellulite, tan lines, all of it. Using Photoshop to modify you or the reality of your body would be a complete disservice to you and antithetical to the heart of my work.

To put it plainly: it is not a part of my process.

My editing process may include very minor corrections to temporary things like bruises, small scratches, minor acne breakouts, etc. These are minimized to help make sure your images feel timeless.

I may minimize or remove distracting background elements (that are inconsequential) to keep the visual focus on you. I may make technical adjustments to the brightness, shadows, saturation, tone, and sharpness (as noted in your contract) to get that beautiful, warm, magickal feeling present in all my work.
